If you’ve ever wondered what a lemonade vendor does once the temperatures drop and the lemons stop sweating, you’re not alone. I get this question every winter. A lot.
The short answer: I don’t disappear.
I simmer.
Winter is my behind-the-scenes season. It’s when Limonista shifts from pouring cups to planting seeds. Fewer markets. Fewer gallons. More ideas quietly steeping on the back burner.
Here’s what I’m working on while the citrus rests.
Winter gives me the space to slow down and put words where my heart has been living all year. I’m working on an ebook that pulls together lemon life, clean living, small business lessons, and the very real moments that happen between markets.
It’s not a sales pitch.
It’s not a how-to manual with a clipboard.
It’s more like sitting at the counter while I tell you what actually worked, what didn’t, and what surprised me along the way. Think warmth, honesty, and a few laughs. The kind of read you come back to with a hot cuppa something.
Winter is also podcast season around here. I’m planning episodes that feel like conversations, not lectures. Stories from behind the lemonade stand. Lessons from building something small with a lot of heart. Reflections on family, resilience, and choosing a slower, more intentional path.
Some episodes will be solo. Some will include voices from the community. All of them will be real.
No hustle yelling. Just thoughtful sips.
Just because it’s cold doesn’t mean the fun stops.
Keep an eye on my socials for occasional parking lot pop-ups and spontaneous experiments. I’ve been playing with ideas like an “un-dirty soda” and other small-batch curiosities that don’t need a full market setup to exist.
No pressure. No big announcements. Just showing up, trying things, and seeing what sticks.
Winter is also when I tidy up the back end of the business. Refining recipes. Updating systems. Sketching future ideas. Dreaming a little bigger while moving a little slower.
It’s less visible work, but it matters just as much as market day.
Limonista doesn’t hibernate. It softens. It reflects. It experiments. And it gets ready.
So if you’re wondering where I am this winter, I’m right here. Writing. Recording. Testing. Planning. And saving a little sunshine for when we’re back out there together.
Spring always comes back around. 🍋
